I understand, but the Convert-C2R.cmd is supposed to do something more than just flashing, it should convert the Office to VL, so that then the KMS-VL-ALL.cmd will detect the VL and activate it. Now the latter gives me that "no Office 2013 or newer can be found".

Thus, I think, there is something wrong with the Convert-C2R.cmd that I run as an administrator with Windows Defender turned off.

don't run either cmd as admin, i didn't and it worked perfectly, when i opened outlook and checked it was activated. now yes the converter should be saying it converted, and the Medicines should tell you it activated office.

actually i think you're right but it should still be telling you what it's doing.

Step-by-step guide for those having troubles with installing and activating Office 2019:

1) Mount ProPlus2019.en-US disc image file.
2) Go to the mounted image and start Office/Setup64.exe (this is to make sure the setup will install the 64-bit Office, cos the main Setup.exe does NOT ask, and for me it autopicked the wrong 32-bit version).
3) When the install finishes, right click to Run as Administrator the Convert-C2R.cmd from the archived C2R-R2V_5 folder, a blue shell window will open and do it's job for about 20 seconds (if the command prompt only flashes, move the folder to the directory where you installed Office).
4) Do NOT run the KMS-VL-ALL Medicines because it will also rewrite your Windows activation for which the best tool is . Instead download and run OInstall.exe. There under the Utilities tab, tick the checkboxes "Online KMS" and "Office reactivation task" then click the "Activate Office" button (if you get a prompt by Windows Firewall click on "Allow access"; this method will only add activation for Office and not touch Windows in any way).

Windows Defender and internet can be ON, since they do not affect the installation.

P.S.: if moderators want, can clean up the above posts of mine regarding trying to solve this issue.

is this working in windows 7?

i read awhile back that office 2019 would only work on 10. you can test it, but i don't think you'll have any luck.

microsoft said windows 10 only, but iv read that people have success on installing this on win7
