ReaConverter is an acknowledged image format conversion tool developed by ReaSoft and is already well-known among designers and non-designer users for its quality and simple to use batch conversion of image files and oft-recurring image editing. An elegant and powerful utility helps to convert "anything to almost anything", including vector image formats and RAW camera files, the program sets a standard on how a conversion utility should work and behave.

The interface of the program is plain and simple. A user can use the Explorer-based layout to locate and access pictures. It is an application designed to help a user easily convert image files to a multitude of other formats, as well as perform other operations, such as resizing, rotating, mirroring, or cropping images, adding borders and shadows, removing noises and converting to black and white. However, a user can also apply filters (blur, sharpen), add watermarks and apply effects (e.g. spray, split blur, antialias, twist, tile, ripple).

Furthermore, a user can configure format settings (e.g. quality, colour model, animation delay time, compression level) and additional options (e.g. convert each multipage file to another, use the values of the original data for the output colour resolution, copy alpha channel from the original file). The program features enhanced new options to work with converted images, too. In particular, the built-in support for cloud storages allows saving the conversion result to SkyDrive or Dropbox quickly. Moreover, the new editing options and graphics filters, such as the Instagram-inspired Stylize filter, help enhance the output picture. Also, a user can preview photographs, zoom in and out, save the action set, run a scheduler, integrate ReaConverter into the context menu, set the transparency colour, change the interface language, and more.

The last version massive update features many improvements like ultra-fast image processing coupled with the support for multi-threading gives a severe boost of performance. The entirely reworked user interface is far more straightforward and more rapid interaction with the tool, built-in support for cloud storage, new editing options and graphics filters while advanced command-line processing utility provides automate processing via scripting and transparent integration with server-side and third-party solutions.

The simple-to-use application runs on a moderate-to-high amount of system resources, includes a comprehensive help file with snapshots and has a perfect response time.

This is mainly addressed to developers and proficient users and is designed for the Windows platform. The DLL feature works similarly with the command-line interface. However, the DLL works only via internal program calls.
