this is just where you install the program noramly this is c:/programfiles

I am not sure, cannot remember and it is too big to download and install again. Try with C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2018b\toolbox\matlab\general
or use Syntax "mr = matlabroot" inside the Mathlab to find root folder. Be careful where will you put it

Syntax
"mr = matlabroot" returns a character vector giving the full path to the folder where MATLAB® is installed. Use matlabroot to create a path to MATLAB and toolbox folders that is independent of platform, MATLAB version, or installation location.

or if theres a shortcut right click go to properties, go to location same in start menu programs

Dude, I said you to TRY to look inside that folder, NOT that it is a right path. It has been a while, and I cannot remember what the correct folder you are looking for is. Follow the instruction inside the Readme file. You are doing something wrong because people are successfully installed the app before you. Read the previous comments maybe you find the answer.

By blindly copying files and without previous thinking what are you doing, you are driving to the own failure. Installation is a not so simple procedure as with other apps so requires some precaution. I hope the action has not ruined the installation. Do not be surprised if you will need to completely uninstall the software with all leftovers from a registry and re-install it again. Good luck!

I will try with complete uninstallation and then

Brother I have tried three times complete uninstall (including erase of regedit ) and done installation.
( 1) I am failing with copy of files after installation in proper place.
(2) Matlab Production Server installation specified in readme.txt. where as there is option available while doing installation of setup.exe. or any file /folder not seen to install MPS
If some one help me where to fiix copy files , it will be a great help to me. I have a project on matlab. please help..... Send more details of installation to my mail id. Thanks

The last release version to work on Remote Desktop (that is requiriing a FlexLM floating license) was 2017a, however the included cracked license file has a data of 11-nov-2018, which has long since passed.

Any chance a version could be released with a working FlexLM floating license? 2017b, 2018a, and 2018b do not work with FlexLM floating license - only with local Medicines.

By the way, 2017a still works if you change the date in the FlexLM license file. However as time goes on 2017a is becoming older and older version.
