Allavsoft is the flexible application that provides a working solution for downloading content from most online locations, merging files, and converting them to standard formats. The app allows users to save videos from more than 100 websites, including YouTube, Vimeo, and MetaCafe. One can transfer multiple items at the same time, and a notable feature is the ability to impose download speed limits. Also, the application supports pausing and resuming transfers.

Multiple items can be downloaded at the same time by merely copy-pasting more than one link into the dedicated URL box, and one can select the desired quality of the output clips. Other options available to users include a handy conversion tool, as well as a merger module.

Concerning conversions, the utility can encode most common formats, including AVIs, MOVs, and MP4s.
