Artisteer (saving Problem)

Greetings Teamos.

I recently downloaded "Artisteer 4.3.0.60858" . The install goes well. and I follow the steps accordingly to instructions given.

Can someone please help me, how do you save your project? Artisteer doesn't want to save my project.

It gives the following "error" message:
UNABLE TO SAVE FILE. OBJECT REFERENCE NOT SET TO AN INSTANCE OF AN OBJECT

Can someone please enlighten me, on what I'm doing wrong?

Yes I did. It's got something to do with the activation of Artisteer.

Artisteer is dead and buried. Tech support won't help you.

Not sure if anyone has solved this but I have stumbled across a solution.

I was unable to save my work and I had the "Unable to save file.
Exception has been thrown by the target of invocation."

I was gutted because it had been a couple hours since I had last saved but...

I went to 'save as' and then renamed the file 'name.zip' rather than 'name.artx' (have file extensions turned on).

It saved without any problems. I then renamed the zip file from 'name.zip' to 'name.artx'. (dont worry if the thumbnail does not change to an image of your site).

Load this in to Artisteer as you would with any other project.

Then re save as an Artisteer file (.artx) with out any problems.

I tried finding TeplateToaster on the web,kinda very similar to Artisteer, but also something wrong with the saving. Thought There would have been a copy of TemplateToaster here thanks jugoexpress..

This is gonna sound stupid...but it would have been nice to somehow force Artisteer to save your project, for example: writing a small piece of code overtiring the save awareness

I'll try the method that was posted above by nuttz ..Hope someone can find a solution to Artisteer saving problem thanks guys, nice to know there's people that care's
