Hey all,

So I have a small delimma, I need to change the WIN 7 time zones to GMT, because a Soft I use needs to edit the Time Zone in GMT Format, is there a way to do this? I have tried most suggestions online, none work, have added Vista Registtry Values, that was a no go as well.

Any suggestion are appreciated. Thanks.

What it is, is that Microsoft sets the BIOS clock to the local time zone while other operating systems notably Linux set the BIOS clock to GMT/UTC time therefore you will have to set the regional time zone to GMT and the BIOS clock to GMT as well. Set the current time in the BIOS to the correct GMT time you say you are, example>>> GMT-7 (so add 7 hours to the current time) and then set your regional settings to GMT (adjust time if necessary) . Don't rightly know if this is exactly what you asked for, but it will set your PC to the correct GMT time zone. Have you ever considered the fact that GMT is no longer the standard and UTC is? and the application you're editing may just simply have to be updated to reflect this time zone problem? Just a thought.
