Tutorials Create Counter Strike Dedicated Server With Your Installed Game

Hello Gamer..

This Guide Will Let You Create Counter Strike Dedicated Server With Your Already Installed Game. Just Need To Download Few MB Of Data.

Note : If There Is Update, You Need To Download That Too.

Download

You must be registered for see links

First.

Step 1:
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\

Step 2:
Select Following Folder/File :
- bin
- csgo
- directx_installer
- platform

And Copy It.

Step 3:
Create new Folder Where You Want To Make Dedicated Server.
Then Paste Copied Content.
eg. I've Installed In C:\steamcmd\csgo_ds\


Step 4:
Extract Downloaded Archive.
- Copy all Files From 'Server Files' Folder To Your Dedicated Server Directory.

Step 5:
Done !


> For Updating Server Or Solution If Above Don't Work ! <

Note: INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIRED !

Step 1:
Extract steamcmd.zip.
-run steamcmd.exe and let install files.

Step 2:
- Open steamcmd.exe

Step 3:
Execute Following Comand Syntax :

force_install_dir <YOUR_DEDICATED_SERVER_DIRECTORY>

Step 4:
Then execute following as same:

app_update 740

Step 5:
Wait Untill Update Done !

And Then You Are Good To Go..

- Just Change map name at end of command in batch file.

Nice tutorial, but if you just want to play a game with your friends and you have a strong PC/good bandwith you can just open the ports and go into an offline game. Also dont forget to mention that if your ports are not open they probably cant connect to it.

This is for who want to host server for lan party or other thing.. but your way is nice too.
