- You have the following options before installing:

1) Edit hosts in: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and add this line:

127.0.0.1 cap.cyberlink.com

OR

2) Open keymaker, click Medicines button, don't close Medicines.

- Install Ultra Edition installer. (If you have installed non-stable Live, Subscription or Essential before, do a clean install and remove all registry leftovers.)

- Don't open after installed.

- Copy PowerDVD.sim file from Fix folder into: C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDVD19, confirm replacing.

- Open PowerDVD, register with the generated serial from Medicines.

- Write down the serial you used for this, for PowerDVD further offline activation gesture you will need that serial used first to activate further features via Medicines.

Medicines that require the PowerDVD.sim file to be replaced have this problem. You are better off waiting for a Medicines that does not have this requirement to be produced before trying to upgrade.

why does the exe set off alarms on virus total. Every pack of this release I've seen is reported by nearly half of virustotal as suspicious.

That is a false positive. It's recommended to turn off your AV/firewall/etc while downloading and installing. All files here on TeamOS are safe.

Seems suspicious. I'd run it on an offline HTPC or something but not a network connected PC. Seems suspicious as hell and not a safe file.

It's your choice weather or not to install it. But I will state again that all files on TeamOS are safe, it's your responsibility to download and install correctly.

ISO playback don't work. it's better to wait another Medicines like version 18 with only installer. SIM file it's wrong.
