I can't open file explorer it keeps giving a message saying working on it then it crashes. I've tried all I can find on YouTube but now worked. Any suggestions?

have you tried task manager, ending the process and going to new task run ?

you may have to run a dskchk too

Are u taking about windows explorer or android file explorer?

Try this find explorer.exe for your system on net then find old one i think it's in system 32 folder and replace it

Need a bit more information if possible, otherwise its like throwing a stone in a big hole...

*What version of Windows are you using?
*Are you using a mechanical drive? (Noted that you have done the sfc /scan now and chkdsk)
*What hardware are you running (memory and hard drive space)
*Have you checked that the service is starting?
*Have you checked the registry values are correct?
*Is the environment infected or are there any applications that maybe interfering?

@Redolent Thanks but I could not get it to work and it was a bother to me so I reinstalled the OS.
