I want to know how to compress a huge file into minimum and highly compressed file which is the best and last method .....
Anyone plzzzzzzzzzz

.tar.gz gives the best comression if you have large amount of RAM....

otherwise, i have heard of delta compression but never tried that...

.tar.gz or tar.7z I personally like 7z just because the compression method uses less ram but still gives you the advantages of a .tar file system

1. About Compression: Compressing files in modern operating systems is usually pretty simple, but things can get more complex when the files are large. If the files are too big, you won't be able to use your operating system's built-in compression software. Luckily there are programs available that can compress files of any size, and with the right settings can potentially reduce the file size by quite a bit. If you're trying to get your media file sizes under control, there are a variety of formats for images, videos, and audio that allow you to compress them without suffering too much quality loss.

Note: There is a major requirement with your System which might be needed to do this job. Ram/Graphic/Processors not enough. What processor and it's cache mb, what Ram and it's cache speed, what card and where it shared, what HDD and how it works and how to present speed. Too many things to consider.

2. Understand that not all files can be compressed by a significant amount: Compression works by replacing sets of characters within a file with smaller, placeholder characters, resulting in a smaller file size. Not all files lend themselves well to compression, and you may not be able to compress a file much smaller than its original size. each format has it's own ability. each format has modern piece of compression set, few would reduced after and few would be loss, few would be compressed smallest and few would stay similar. and if you saw 2GB file into 30MB? then Yes it's possible only for experts because they have all required script and codes and plugins that works alternatively with programs at background to do the job more easily.

Right-click on the file or folder you want to compress and select "7-Zip" "Add to archive". In the "Add to Archive" menu, you can set your compression options. Set the "Dictionary size" to a value ten times lower than your available memory. A larger dictionary means better compression, but the memory requirements are ten times the dictionary size. Set "Solid Block size" to "Solid" for the best compression.

Right-click on the file or folder you want to compress and select "Add to archive" with the WinRAR logo. Ensure "Dictionary size" is set to "5096 KB". Check the "Create solid archive" box. Click the Advanced tab and then the Compression button. Set "Text compression" to "Auto".

-Archiver is one of the most popular Mac compression programs that allows you to create archives in 7-Zip and RAR format, as well as its own proprietary format.
Archiver doesn't have as many settings as its Windows counterparts, but you can set the compression level when creating an archive. Note that increasing compression levels can significantly increase the time it takes to compress.
