These shortcuts will greatly simplify looking up and using quite a few, really though, A LOT of tasks in the Control Panel and on your PC.

This will show you how to create a Control Panel All Tasks (aka "God mode") shortcut or folder shortcut in Windows 10.

Attention! Be aware that the information in the created shortcuts can be misunderstood and misused by the operator. Proceed and use with caution. You have been warned.

How To Create A Control Panel All Tasks (aka "God mode") Shortcut


1. Right click or press and hold on an empty area on your desktop, and click/tap on New and Shortcut.

2. Copy and paste the location below into the location area, and click/tap on Next.

3. Type Control Panel All Tasks for the name, and click/tap on the Finish button.
NOTE: You could also name this shortcut anything you would like.

4. Right click or press and hold on the new shortcut, and click/tap on Properties.

5. Click/tap on the Shortcut tab, then click/tap on the Change Icon button.

6. In the line under "Look for icons in this file", copy and paste the location below, and press Enter.

7. Select an icon (which will then be highlighted in blue) and click/tap on OK.
NOTE: You can use any icon that you would like.

8. Click/tap on OK.

9. You can Pin to Taskbar, Pin to Start, add to All apps, add to Quick Launch, assign a keyboard shortcut to it, or move this shortcut to where you like for easy use.


OR you can make a "Control Panel All Tasks" Folder.

How To Create A "Control Panel All Tasks" Folder Shortcut:

Attention! Be aware that the information in the created folder shortcut can be misunderstood and misused by the operator. Proceed and use with caution. You have been warned.

1. Right click or press and hold on an empty area on your desktop, then click/tap on New and Folder.

2. Copy the name below:

Control Panel All Tasks.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

3. Right click on the New Folder, click on Rename, paste the name above, and press Enter.

4. You can Pin to Start, add to All apps, Pin to Quick access, add to Quick Launch, or move this shortcut to where you like for easy use.

My Linux guru-type son sitting right here beside me showed me this about a year ago and I had completely ignored him. He reminded me of this just recently and I was simply amazed at what this shortcut and similar folder shortcut can do. We just had to share this with the community here.
