This error message may occur on 64 bit operating systems when the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package is not properly configured.
​

1. Replace these files. mfc100.dll, mfc100u.dll, msvcr100.dll, msvcp100.dll and msvcr100_clr0400.dll

Save these files to any location on your PC

2. Please reboot your computer in Safe Mode

[How to restart in SAFE MODE]

- Restart the computer
- Press the "F8" key (several times before Microsoft Windows begins to load; you need to press "F8" until you will be displayed a text menu;

- Select "SAFE MODE"
Note: for Windows 8, you can hold the Shift key while going to Power Off and clicking on Restart option

3. Access C:\Windows\System32
4. Locate the 5 files you have downloaded and extracted
5. Next, copy all those files to C:\Windows\System32 replacing the current ones
6. Reboot in normal mode

then you can play almost everything

thnaks ...and exactly that may be the issue as its 64bit os intalled nd many components are missing ...even installed c++ is of 32bit ,, i m suprised what the seller did for 3 hrs before giving me my pc sayinig its done nd ready !

He just did reguar stuff instaled OS, office and drivers I assume

yupe beter he must have reduced some more money and saved time of mine and his

well as installing .netframework......
when i click Medicines....now it dont pop up with that message : the application was unable to start....!
rather nothing does happen when i click Medicines...!
what i did yesterday was ...
1st installed .netframework latest ver,
2nd microsoft c++visual 2017(64bit)as of before 32bit 2015 c++visual was installed nd its still there i didnot removed it ...!
Today i will try some more steps mentioned and then yours steps too...hope some how it works !

@radhe Most shop keepers are doing this ... they do just the normal things they Do NOT think further ...
Except when you told the shop keeper that you want to play also older games ...
But yes that means more work for them and more monney to pay ...

But it's worth it you don't have work to do yourself
