so mcafee is on the 2nd virustotal list, thats a bit oof

if I temp disable my mcafee to use this repack and re-enable it, am I going to need to whitelist some of the files in my real-time scanning list? and if so, which ones will need whitelisting

nope. Just, disable your macfee during the installation period. then you're done. you can turn it back on. no need to whitelist anything.
