Locked Looking for recommendation on Microsoft Office

I recently had a system crash, caused by Passmark RunIt software. I have reinstalled Windows 10 and most of my usual applications. At this point, I'm deciding which Microsoft Office thread to use. The choice offered by this site is bewildering!

I mainly use Excel and Word, with occasional use of PowerPoint. I would like to have the latest software, which would be Office 2019 Pro Plus. But I prefer one that can be activated permanently -- not for six months and such. If no such Medicines yet exists for 2019, I don't mind going in for 2016.

I welcome thread/upload suggestions.

Been using the blue edition 2007 for over a decade. A must install for any pc I work on. No regrets what so ever, everything just works even out-look. All the bells n whistles that are available on new versions, you barely notice them when working between the two versions. If your work is basic then 2007 is all you would ever need, but a lot of distro's have the latest office included which makes things hassle free.

@Vidyaarthi, I have an Office 2019 Pro Plus installed and I have downloaded it from here.
I honestly don't remember the thread, you have to search.

I share the screenshot of the installation files so you can see the version I am referring to. I have it installed since August last year and it works correctly.

If you use Malwarebytes you must put in the exceptions list the registry keys and files shown here:

In the first 3 registry keys the complete path is not seen in the image, I did it when MB detected those keys as malware and quarantined them. Hence I put them in the MB exceptions list, I didn't do it manually.

Answer quickly, because we do not recommend any version of any software, the user must find and try the one they like best.

I use W10 and office. NP.... You want permanent activation, pay the $ then. Sorry, this is done. Complete.
