Tech News Microsoft releases new Medicines Tuesday updates for Windows 10 November 2019 Update and older, here’s what’s new

Microsoft has just released new Medicines Tuesday updates for the Windows 10 November 2019 Update and older versions of the OS. If you’re already running the November 2019 Update, you’ll get the build 18363.535 today, while those of you still running the May 2019 update will get the build 18362.535.

To be clear, the two patches actually include the same fixes, as the build 18362.535 for the May 2019 Update has all the new features included in the November 2019 but in a dormant state. This situation is quite unique, but the November 2019 update was more like a service pack for the May 2019 Update with a couple of new features thrown in.

Anyway, here are all the fixes included in the 1903 build 18362.535 and 1909 build 18363.535:

Addresses an issue that might cause error 0x3B in cldflt.sys on some devices.
Addresses an issue that might prevent you from creating a local user account using the Input Method Editor (IME) for Chinese, Japanese, or Korean languages. This issue occurs when setting up a new Windows device during the Out of Box Experience (OOBE).
Security updates to Windows Virtualization, Windows Kernel, the Microsoft Scripting Engine, and Windows Server.

Microsoft isn’t aware of any known issues in these builds, and we hope the last Windows 10 patches of 2019 are indeed bug-free. In case you’re still running the October 2018 update on your PC, the build 17763.914 is also available for you with the following fixes:

Addresses an issue with diagnostic data processing when a device has the Diagnostic data setting enabled and set to Basic.
Addresses an issue in which the Microsoft Store might fail to open on Windows on Arm.
Security updates to Windows Virtualization, Windows Kernel, Windows Peripherals, the Microsoft Scripting Engine, and Windows Server.

For Windows 10 Enterprise and Education users, Medicines Tuesday updates are also available for Windows 10 versions 1803, 1709, 1703, 1607, and 1507. We invite you to check the release notes on Microsoft’s support website for more details about these updates.

Windows 10 Mobile also received its last Medicines ever today, and the mobile OS is now officially out of support.
