Locked Need Help Please.

Hi i just wanna ask some help here. so my pc got a virus not too long ago. its called ransome that they want you to pay them over tor. and what i did is i start reinstall windows right away on my main hard drive, after i reinstall the new windows when i was openning my back up hard drive all my drivers, picture, basically everything that i have been save for a while wont not open and it has a extension called .docm. example new text document.txt.docm. <--- something like this. also every folder has a text file say restore-my-file. i wish someone can help me i really need some important file and software that i save, anyone please help..

So yes you are affected my Ransomware which actually encrypts the file & the only way to decrypt is pay them a bounty so they will send you a unique key to decrypt all the files that have been affected. Here the issue is you are affected by .docm ransomware & for decryption tools to work they should support the same extension as offered by many antivirus solutions.. I found this on google & i think you should give it a go might work .. follow this hope it helps you.. sent you the link in pm as not allowed to post outside links
Might also try data recovery if that works to restore files in proper condition.. & please ensure some antivirus protection to be secured in all ways

Bitdefender Internet and Total Security have ransomware remediation. I'm sure I seen it available here or you could get the 30 day trial from the official site. Not sure if it works retroactively or if it has to catch it in the act though.
