I think it's working with all types (manufacturers) - NVIDIA NVFlash is used to flash the graphics card BIOS on NVIDA Titan V, GeForce 1080 Ti, 1080, 1070, 1060, 1050 and older cards.

Does this include Acer laptops?

I was able to find (google) some people asking for flashing mobile GPU-s. Why would you do that?

General rule is: Use at your own risk, only flash when it's absolutely necessary. Of course, make sure you create a backup of your original bios.

i visit the Nvidia page and then i let it check if it needs a update or not

found where to get the new bios yesterday for all gpu's, going to play with old 650 first,m if that works then will try on 980, might fix problem having with it
