If for some reason you no longer have the torrent files, all of which are very recent?!... Windows 10 Pro RS5 v.1809.17763.379 En-us x64 March2019 V.2 Pre-Activated -=TEAM OS=- may 18 2019, Windows 7 Super Lite Edition April 2019 (x86) and Windows 7 Super Lite Edition April 2019 (x64) both apr 18 2019

You might get lucky trying some software for file recovery from a deleted or partitioned drive. What I was getting at from my first reply was to simply make a better habit of uploading a fair amount when you download a torrent.

Sharing is caring.
Haha thats the problem, I never save them because I never thought I'm gonna need them in future.

Have a look at the image below.

If your ratio is low and you can,t download look for freeleach? It does not count to your download so it will not hurt your ratio in any way.
Download a few of them (freeleech) and then just leave your download program open and let it upload for a long time.
I use bitcomet myself, But there any many torrent down-loaders out there. utorrent/qBittorrent /BitTorrent and many more.

I still cant download even its a freelech

Minimum Ratio Required To Download a Torrent?
My answer is-0.30
Let's be honest they gave a month of freeleech to everyone and changed to 0.40 which should already be 0.50 - 1 ratio.
If ur not gonna become seeder of at least 1 ratio. Don't expect new software because you actively kill the system.

If we keep lowering it nobody gonna bother this site in 6 months and the site? It dies off.

People already get a credit of supposedly 5 GB upload and they still have the bonus point system to keep them active or if u have bad luck nobody downloading it.

Just my 2 cents rants.

Didn,t know mate. Sorry about that. :( Never found myself in your situation.

All I can say is when your ratio was getting to a low level if you would of downloaded some freeleech and then uploaded you could of avoided the situation you found yourself in.
Lets hope that helps some others before they fall into your experience?

EDIT: These are two files you downloaded, (Image below) Just run the download program you used to get them and let them upload for quite some time.
This will improve your upload status, If for any reason you have you have deleted them and you can no longer download anything because of poor ratio, Get a friend to download for you and copy them back into your download folder on your PC and upload them again.
After reading the instructions in the ratio thread you will then increase your upload plus by doing so for a long period of time you will get bonus points per hour uploading.
Once you have got yourself some points then trade them to increase your ratio?
Hope that helps your situation.

Don't do that. When you register on the site (and thats why you need to make an account to download torrents) a unique passkey is created for you which is embedded in every torrent file you download. If Person1 gives a torrent to Person2, all the upload and seed that Person2 will do will count towards Person1 ratio since the torrent file has their passkey. That's how the tracker can keep track of your ratio and also allows for a user to seed from multiple connections.

------------About the ratio---------------

When we examine how a system works, we need to examine it from multiple points of view in order to enhance its performance.

One of the issues I see often is when new members are downloading a month old or older torrents. Those torrents have good number of seeders but no more leechers as the other older members, already downloaded the torrent, and so the new member won't find people to seed for. From their perspective, they play by the rules (seed what you download) but they don't get the benefit of other than a point per hour and with that rate they will need to seed for 120 hours non stop to get 1GB of upload. So let's say they download a windows version that is 5GB, to balance this they will need 5X120 hours or 25 days of upload nonstop.

Another small issue I see is that a lot of the strategies to combat those issues are not known to a lot of our members and here we need to remember that a lot of people are new to the private tracker idea or even torrents and PCs in general. I will write a small guide on how to be a "worthy member" and what strategies to follow in order to build a good upload size and ratio right from the start.

That doesn't mean that some members aren't to blame as they are trying to exploit the system and most of all NEVER read the rules and guidelines already on the site.

Some possible solutions?
One idea could be that the admins can make a short version of the guidelines when a person registers so they can't claim they didn't read.

Also not sure if the tracker support this but for new members (lets say up to a month), they can add a rule on the tracker so when they seed older torrents, during their 1st month and if the torrent is older by X days AND has no leechers, they get double or triple points to help them build some extra GB of uploads of non leeched torrents. After the 1st month, the "new" members won't be new anymore and they should know how the tracker works. If not... well you can't help everyone.

If something like the above is to happen then I think the minimum ratio must be set to at least 0.5 and the reason is, you can't always fully give back what you downloaded as the numbers of leechers are inversely proportional to the numbers of days that the torrent is alive. More days = fewer leechers.

Overall I think that the admins are doing an exceptional job with the way this site works and this is one of the reasons that made me stay and support the site rather than be somewhere else. For that, we owe a Thank you.

@Cyler Hmmmm... Rules and guides are here for all to see in plain sight right? Please don't add any "small guide". If members can't see, read, or choose to ignore it's there fault. Your opinion is great, and is just that..... Your opinion. Let us (Staff) handle the rest. Thousands of members get it right. Others just don't. Thanks for the kudos and support.

I didn't say the opposite, of course, it's just an opinion or an idea and to be honest I thought we were all talking about our opinions and ideas here and is not a request or a demand and I hope it wasn't perceived as such. Some ideas might be right, some might be wrong for sure but it's up to you the staff on if and what to do.

Cheers mate didn,t even know that, I was just looking for a solution for the person in question?
I guess I was presuming his download program would have the necessary info when he download the torrents, So its was just a case of putting said files back in the download folder. My bad. :(
Oh well never mind I,ve learned something new, looks like there only option is to go VIP.

@ Cyler,
I have tons of files that I downloaded from here and have tried to get as many as I could to seed. I currently am seeding 258 files. I have been trying to find out if it is possible to get seeding credit while using a VPN. I read somewhere that you couldn't. Do you know for sure? I have a great ratio, 979.2 right now and am not worried about being able to download. I download every new .torrent that is available and then seed it, whether I need it or can use it or not. I can't seed 24/7 for various reasons, but do try to seed as much as possible. I would very much prefer to use a VPN and aam looking into the fastest one for p2p. I currently use HideMyAss/HMA which is now owned by AVG. Even though TeamOS is a private Tracker, my ISP and perhaps others can see what it is that I am up/downloading, and that could mean that the US Gov. could show up at my door. I DO NOT want that to happen. If you could please clarify the VPN thing for me I would appreciate it. Also, if using a VPN does block me from getting credit, is there a way around it? I can seed faster without a VPN, but the risk to me could prove very expensive, even jail time.
Thank you for any clarity or advice you can give me about this.
Namaste,
Brian
P.S. - Are all files seeding counted or just what is actually uploaded?
