I think that TeamOS torrent hosting servers are very unreliable if it comes to seeding :/ I downloaded a couple of freshy published Win 10 iso, kept my computer on for 3 weeks because I had a motorcycle accident and my torrent client only uploaded around 32mb of data :(
My Torrent client is working fine with seeding on other torrents like if I would donwload a skidrow or fitgirl game torrent :/
Don't know why it's happening and why did it not seed even when I saw people still downloading the torrent.

I will give a scinario... may be I am wrong also...

I have downloaded a torrent...and I keep the same in the same location to seed...( at this time some of our friends downloading from my torrent share...)

after some time I have problems with my internet... and everything is unavailable from my side and the torrent is shifting to other torrent shares available during that time and my torrent share is dead and I cant do anything ...even after two weeks.

So now I have downloaded another and the same thing repeats......again.

Now I can do only to take care of my internet speed and availability. This is my problem....

I was going to explain myself but I think this guy worded it much better.

Basically peers will favour seeds over peers, and will favour the fastest peers/seeds rather than slower ones. Once a torrent has a certain number of seeders the aggregate bandwidth becomes enough that the potential upload traffic becomes diluted over many seeders.

If it was on for three weeks then you would have gotten one point per hour per torrwnt.
In time you get enough points to get a bonus and up your points total.
Then you down load a bunch of small programs and get more points. Eventually you have a good enough bunch of points and a great ratio and can stop worrying.
All it takes is time.

It is what many of us have done to get our points up and ratios up.
So if you have torrents from here then just give it time and eventually you will be able to get bonus points and your ratio up to something decent.

At least they gave us a choice to do so.
So sit back and relax and it will happen :)

Oh, that's good to know and would explain the existing points that I have on my account

[edit 19.01.2020]
I tested it with an video tutorial torrent and it seems really to work.... in other words, I could emulate Windows on my DIY NAS memory, setup a vpn and just download the torrents and keep it running for longer time on my NAS which is running 24/7 in my cold garage ^_^

I'm a relatively new member (Oct 24, 2019 ) and use a seedbox with 3-4 torrents seeding to TeamOS & have:
Checkout my Upload , Download & Ratio, plus it's smarter than torrenting to your location. FTP protocal for downloads is encrypted & so much safer.
Getting a seedbox for torrenting will save you a lotta headache ratio-wise. I've had one or another for a decade or so.

I'm misusing the public wifi hotspot that I receive with an outdoor antenna and an Alpha WiFi Adapter.. The Bar owners won't be in trouble because we have an law that says "you don't need to pay the lawyers for copyright infrigement if you are sharing public hotspot and you didn't do that.

When it comes to electricity bill, then my garage is running off grid...
I have still my solar panels from my Hard Drive and GPU mining experience XD

I'd like to ask you what is probably a dumb question, but how do you get a seed box? I have googled and just not found information that makes sense.
