i have a problem i met twice in,
1) in the first USB from disk management in windows 10 of 32GB it showed 5KB, I tried to restore files but in vain, I gave it to a technician and within 5 hours it restored and fixed the USB,

2) on the second USB, from disk managementin windows 10 the GB shows them normally, but all I can do is restore the files.

in both cases I did the following:
1) from cmd
diskpart....
list disk.... or try list volume...
select disk... or try select volume...
clean...
create partition primary ----» this step is display the problem
No usable free extent could be found. It may be that there is insufficient
free space to create a partition at the specified size and offset. Specify
different size and offset values or don't specify either to create the
maximum sized partition. It may be that the disk is partitioned using the MBR disk
partitioning format and the disk contains either 4 primary partitions, (no
more partitions may be created), or 3 primary partitions and one extended

partition, (only logical drives may be created).

i try method list partition - select partition is nothing
i try formart fs-fat32 quick ----» and messege is got me the parameter is incorrect.

I also tried the application
MiniTool Partition Wizard
it was showing me as unallocated I tried to format it on the internet tutorials, and as it was finished instead of correcting it, it appeared to me again unallocated.

i have seen various help from internet, what am i doing wrong ??
in the first case it was corrected, so does anyone else know which specialized way? .......

any one help me????
and sorry if i'm wrong with spelling, my english is not that good.

Sounds like you may have a faulty flash drive or a bad usb port. Try testing all your usb ports first to make sure they are not faulty. Also make sure you have all your correct drivers installed too.

I think i had a similar problem with a USB stick, try either a different USB port or even a different PC. Try low-level formatting too.

Format RAW SD/USB card with EaseUS partition management software

The EaseUS Partition Master software is a complete tool for disk management, such as delete, hide, delete, copy, join and format partition, etc. It has a very easy to use interface, now we start formatting a USB stick with this software:

Step 1. Connect your USB memory to PC, run the software and right click on the USB drive and select "Format".

Step 2. Configure the desired label in the Partition Label box and then select the NTFS, FAT32, EXT2 or EXT3 file system, as well as size cluster.

Step 3. Confirm the dependent operation on the left side and finally click "Execute" to apply the formatting operation to your PC.

Other solutions that have been used on USB hard drives :

RAW hard disk: what is this format and how to repair it to return to NTFS

Unlike what many think, that a hard disk or a USB memory appears in RAW format does not mean that we have lost all the data stored in it, but that there has been a problem that has made them illegible, but many times we can recover them.

When a hard disk appears in RAW format it means that, for some reason, it has lost its file system (FAT32, NTFS, etc.) and, therefore, the operating system is not able to read the information stored inside.

Why does the RAW format appear on a hard disk?

The reasons why a hard disk can appear in RAW format are varied. The first, and one of the most common, is usually hot, without security, hard drives or USB drives, especially when we use them in Linux operating systems (operating system that uses the cache of all devices by default and, therefore, it is not recommended to use with hot swapping) and other similar devices, such as a console, a media player or a television.

However, this is not the only reason why this message may appear. It is possible that due to a mechanical or logical failure of a hard disk it will start to generate errors that result in the loss of the partition table. If this starts to appear very often, then we should think about replacing the hard drive as soon as possible.

Bad sectors, cables and connectors in poor condition, a virus attack or a failure with the operating system permissions (very common in Linux) can also trigger such problems.

How to fix a hard drive in RAW and recover data

Most of the times this message appears, the data is still on the hard disk, although for some of the above reasons they have become illegible. In the event that this occurs, the first thing we must do is check that the cables, whether power, a USB cable or the SATA sabers of an internal hard drive, are properly connected and are not damaged.

If everything is correct, the next step will be to try to repair the disk partition table so that the data becomes accessible to the operating system again. This can be done in several ways, from the least aggressive (least likely to lose data) to the most aggressive:

CHKDSK
El comando CHKDSK es una aplicación que viene instalada por defecto en Windows y que nos va a permitir analizar los discos duros con el fin de detectar cualquier posible problema con la estructura de datos.

To try to repair a RAW drive, we will simply open a CMD window in Windows with administrator permissions and execute the following command (changing the "X" to the letter of the drive we want to analyze, if it has one).
Code:
chkdsk X: /r
This tool will analyze our hard drive, detect all possible bad sectors or errors in the data structure and apply the necessary corrections to be able to access the data again. If for some reason this application does not recover the original format, then we must continue testing the following alternatives.

TESTDISK
Testdisk is, without a doubt, the best application we can find today to recover deleted or deleted partitions from hard drives. This application is completely free, open source and is available for all operating systems, both Windows and Linux and macOS. This tool is responsible for analyzing the data structure of the hard disk and creating a new partition table, assigning the appropriate format to each of the logical partitions found on the hard disk itself.
There are many manuals on google that teach you how to use this command.

Format and recover data
If all of the above has failed, there is not much hope left. The only thing that we would have left to do is to format our hard disk using any application, or the formatting tool included in Windows itself, and then resort to some tool to recover deleted data from hard drives to recover this information.

There are many applications to recover deleted data from a hard disk, although if we want a free and open source alternative, then without a doubt we must choose PhotoRec, included with TestDisk, an excellent application to recover data that has been deleted because of the RAW format of the hard disk.

Good luck and we await news of your progress.

Just make sure that you don't have any virus(es) both on your PC and your flash drive.
Several years ago there are many viruses that hides flash drive properties and locked them so that you couldn't make any necessary actions.

If you're sure that you don't have any virus, install file manager (my go-to file manger is Total Commander) like Total Commander.
On its settings -> Display tab -> check "Show Hidden Files"
Now select drive where your flash drive is detected.
If you can see what its inside, you have virus(es) that locked your flash drive.
If you couldn't see what its inside, your flash drive is broke.

sorry but forgot to mention that i had already tried it
pc with windows xp is nothing, i try maccbok is nothing, another laptop windows 7 is nothing, my pc windows 10 all drivers is installed, and again nothing.......

is first USB stick before 5 months, a technician is fixed, :worried: maybe is secret:makeup:

I think i had a similar problem with a USB stick, try either a different USB port or even a different PC. Try low-level formatting too.
i tried all of the same ports, and USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports.
also when i was looking for various instructions i tried the HDD Low Level Format Tool 4.40, it starts and finishes, but without resetting either FAT32 or NTFS:cry:

thank you again for this info

How to fix a hard drive in RAW and recover data
No fixid

CHKDSK
chkdsk X: /r

C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk E: /r
The type of the file system is RAW.
CHKDSK is not available for RAW drives.

TESTDISK
1)i dont need this application,
2) I don't care about archives for reset.

Format and recover data
I tried out of curiosity iCare Data Recovery before 3 days, and is ok, recovery 20GB files

5-6 months ago in the original TSB and I couldn't restore the files, and in disk management disk it was 5KB, but the technician repaired it.
Now it also shows it to me in disk management 28GB and I restored files.

how do you explain this ??
could the chip have a problem ??
I don't mind burning it and throwing it away, at some point I may have to deal with it again and so I'm trying to find a solution, and I think it will help a lot of people IF a solution is found ......... ...........

it doesn't work, because it doesn't have a virus, and it does, you can't see anything inside raw file system, and it can't be formatted

@chrismil
If using totcom you couldn't see it , you should considered that one of the solution is to ditch the old and buy a new one...
Practically it's broken and beyond repairable at this point...
Not 5 months ago... Within 5 months to this point, anything can happen...
