My experience: The activation didn't work for me when I needed it.

I installed the program on February 21 and followed the instructions to activate it. I monitored it for about a week. I had an initial snapshot plus a snapshot every time the system was started. It looked like everything was working fine. After a week, I got complacent and stopped paying attention to it. Every time I rebooted, Rollback screen would show and I felt reassured.

Yesterday (March 30), I tried out a program I downloaded here: PassMark BurnInTest. While testing the my SSD (My C: drive with Windows), this program ruined everything: The SSD became unmountable. No problem, I said to myself. I restarted the PC and clicked on Rollback with the intention of restoring. To my horror, the program said that my license had expired.

It looks like, even with a fully functional activation routine, the program has issues with SSDs. I suppose I should look for alternatives, such as Shadow Defender or OneKeyGhost. Any other suggestions?

You can try it with Shadow Defender.

For that scenario, you need the software "reboot restore rx pro".

If you look back to my earlier posts, this is EXACTLY what I said about the activation.

It will NOT work past 30 days. 30 days from the date you install the app, it will fail and there is no way to reactivate. You can not test this either by moving your date up 30 days. I am not 100% sure how they are doing it, but whatever they are checking, it sure will cut you OFF.... Shame because it is such a great application, I used it daily and loved it. At least I know that I was not crazy about the activation issues...

I only post this reply, so people wont rely on this program 100% without knowing in advanced there 'might' be an issue when you go to restore after a major crash...

Maybe someone has a fix soon

I am sorry bro, but you would need to do a little deeper investigation because I can confirm 100% that this GREAT application WILL fail after a FULL 30 days of USE. Thank you for the sugestion of Shadow Copy, but Shadow Copy has it's own issues, and is not close to a replacement for RollBackRX ..

Can't seem to activate it ... I get the error license expired. Yes!!! The computer was restarted after the install, and the Medicines file was put in the Program files folder.

Before applying the Medicines file to Program Files, did you "End Process Tree" for 'Shield.exe' in Task Manager?
Also, to be safe, after initial install, go ahead and reboot, then immediately reboot into 'Safe Mode without internet Connection' (%windir%\system32\msconfig.exe) > Boot tab > select 'Safe Boot' under 'Boot Options' tab
In safe mode, apply the Medicines and reboot! The reboot will automatically bring you back into 'Normal' mode.
Did you try all that?

Replaced the Medicines file with the original file in ProgramFiles.. Still get the same message. Check attachment.

What file format is allowed for screenshot.

Install... boot into safe mode... apply Medicines... reboot! Also use demo version when installing!

No. Upon install, Rollback makes a 'Baseline' snapshot of the system at the time of install! Best to install this after fresh OS install so you have a raw snapshot, named "Raw OS Install"!
