I've never seen a decked out Linux like that!! Whoa!
Conky is a little harder than using windows apps to "prettify" the desktop. Once you get the hang of it, its really not that bad, lots of repetition, and programming ability, or in my case, cut and past from working configs to new configs to achieve a working result. My up to date programming skills are VERY lacking.

We all start from somewhere. I used to do that with cheats for games. I cant code but I can understand enough to remove code and stuff

My programming skills are basically 40yrs outdated, I wrote programs in RPG,RPG2,RPG3 on a IBM System 38 back in 1982. Mostly payroll and finance programs. I got into computing as a hobbyist in the early 90's, and from there it went to hacking and cracking programs to remove nags and copy protection. Like you, I have enough basic skills and knowledge to know what should go where and how it should work when done, and basic troubleshooting when it goes haywire :) I still build and repair PC's as a side job.

wow, that takes me back.... remember GWBASIC? I bought a magazine every week for the gwbasic programs they included in it for free. Frogger was a good one.

Final one, Windows 7 Professional SP1. Taskbar is done with Windowblinds 10.74, The weather, calendar, and roaming spider & web is done with Xwidget 1.9.23.1121, The launchers are Nexus Ultimate 18.12.1133, The searchbars, Drive launcher, RSS Reader are Rainmeter 4.2.0 beta r3043



The little weather radar is a win7 gadget. It loads 3 different animated weather maps
