I think your torrent app is infected or worst case scenario it got infected by mining viruses.

Mainly on hardware issue could be because, of your HDD/SSD/PROCESSOR or even power source. It happened to me a few years ago, and i've changed the hdd to an ssd, and my problem was solved.
Regarding a software problem, try reinstall Windows first, and change your torrent client to Qbittorent and see if that fix it. Good Luck.

Yes - this can happen when too many connections are specified to torrents. I have the ASUS PCE-AC88 AC3100 4x4 PCIe and Techkey 1750Mbps Dual Band 5GHz/1300Mbps 5dBi and I've experimented A LOT with these and others on Windows 7 and a few versions of Windows 10. And if my torrent connections exceed certain thresholds, freezing or even instantaneous rebooting sometimes occurs regardless of netcard, OS or torrent client or really any other settings. I dial back the torrent counts and all is well. You can determine if the problem is overly aggressive torrent settings by configuring a low connection ceiling as pictured below. Of course you raise these settings over time after successful trials but realize BROWSING or doing anything on the network CAN GREATLY REDUCE the threshold at which your torrent client (or network stack in general) fails. Some software applications are network chatty and you might never know unless you look into it. When I use KMPlayer - my torrent clients fail more quickly!

Windows 10 offers us the possibility of keeping track of the events that occur in the system for support and control purposes thanks to the event viewer which are generated when an application running in Windows 10 stops working or responding.

Failure events in Windows 10 provide us with complete information about the problem due to which applications, security, configuration, system or forwarded events stopped responding and practically everything related to blocking optimizing support tasks.

To view the event that caused the automatic stuck, you have to enter the "Event Viewer".

To do this you can use any of these options:

tecla-x.png

Use the following key combination and in the displayed window write the eventvwr command and press Enter.

tecla-r.png

Enter the term "event" in the Windows 10 search box and select "Event Viewer" from the options displayed.

visor.png

Look in one of the 5 categories where you can get a complete list of the errors that have occurred in the system, simply click on one of them to see all the recorded events.

In this way, you will know exactly what causes the blockage (stuck) and you can take actions to solve it.
