yes with win7 can you perfom a clean install of win10

That should help, my friend had problem where he wasn't able to do clean boot install Win 10 pro, so he installed win 7 then win 10.

The laptop keeps reverting back to the old partition table, has secure boot have anything to do with that? I have tried to install windows 7 but will not let me boot into it and asks for a boot drive, then put in Windows 10 usb and all the partitions are back.

check your bios if UEFI boot is activated
