Having the right and suitable clients is what makes torrenting very easy and awesome experience. Sometimes we often look for alternate experience or new client for different reasons. Based on my experience, here are few that has utorrent-like interface that may suit your taste.

rtorrent/rutorrent - GNU/Linux based. best bt-client ever; enough to make people switch OS. It has enriched library to have best torrenting experience.
Suggested Version - libtorrent 0.13.6 +rtorrent 0.9.6

- Windows, Mac, GNU/Linux(src). based on libtorrent-rasterbar. Very n00b friendly, easy to use and full of features thats necessary for torrenting.
Suggested Version - v3.3.16(recommended for heavy users for the time being), 4.0.4 or higher.

- Windows, Mac, GNU/Linux(src). Another simple & best replacement IMO in term of usability. This client also comes with various plugins for better experience which are available in plugins and forums.
Suggested Version - 1.3.15 or higher.

- Windows, Mac, GNU/Linux(src) Lightweight and default torrent client of Ubuntu and Mac
Suggested Version - v2.93 or higher.
Daemon is the most lightweight form that you can get from . Then install . It has µtorrent/rutorrent loke GUI. For webgui use for minimal, for stylish-slick-modern and for full-fledged rutorrent like GUI. More can be found in .

µtorrent - v2.2.1 (build 25302) and v2.0.4 (build 22967) used to be the best bt-client for Windows. Now µtorrent 3.5.3 or higher for Windows and µtorrent 1.8.7 For Mac OSX (build 43796) or higher is considered safe. A word of caution: µtorrent has become an adware.

- KDE-GNU/Linux. KTorrent is a BitTorrent application by KDE which allows you to download files using the BitTorrent protocol. It enables you to run multiple torrents at the same time and comes with extended features to make it a full-featured client for BitTorrent.

- Created by developers of Azureus/Vuze. Bit resource heavy. You'll get the same yet better experience than Vuze. Although it is not approved in all private trackers. Though the situation is slowly changing. Additinal plugins That worked with Vuge should work with BiglyBT.
Suggested Version - v1.4

- very lightweight though some features are missing. approved in all private trackers.

NOTE
µtorrent found by Google's project zero hacker Tavis Ormandy was patched by these versions -

Old µtorrent(1.x-2.x) allowed: HDB, BTN, PTP, AHD, GGn, APL, MAM, JPS, BakaBT
All µtorrent Removed: RED, BIB, AB, OT, IPT, DT

Another was also found by Tavis Ormandy in Transmission 2.92 & lower versions. It was patched in update. This issue was also patched in Transmission 2.93 which was released in January 24, 2018.

Due to recent QT library update in Qbittorrent v4, Its recommended for heavy users to wait at 3.3.16 for the time being until v4 becomes more stable, bug and crash free.

Tixati is not allowed on almost every private trackers as one can modify data in it. Specially the data which clients send to the tracker. the data includes, client name, upload and downloaded data etc. In other words, its called spoofing/cheating. When asked, developer refused to remove these features. Hence its not allowed anywhere. More explained

Use BiglyBT instead of Vuze. BiglyBT is written from the same source code of Vuze. GUI is almost identical. It is ad-free, open-source & bloat-free. It also has a popular android version. BiglyBT also has a migration tools which can help you easily move from Vuze to BiglyBT

To use KTorrent in ubuntu and derivatives, use theses
Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ktorrent
sudo dpkg -l ktorrent

Other Necessary Tools-
Transmission Setup Instruction
You'll be asked to install 3 things while installing from installer: - daemon - web - gui
Install daemon *[& web].

For Application based GUI, download & install trans-gui.

For browser based GUI, try
Best way to install it is to rename *index.html to index.original.html in the web folder and pasting the content of src folder from Github. Link to the browser

To set it up go to connection > remote host : localhost > port : 9091 (which is default; if you change it then you need to change here as well)

Migration Tools -
µtorrent to QBT -
µtorrent to deluge -
Transmission -
Azureus/Vuze to BiglyBT - Internal. you can migrate configuration settings, downloads, and plugins.

I am here adding my vote for qbitorrent. I've been using it for some years now.
Currently I am running a docker container with it in an ARM board that uses ~4 Watts.
THe build comes from "Linux server", and they maintain all sort of intereting docker builds for X86, amd64 and arm here.
