Review
Universal Viewer is an advanced file viewer with wide range of formats supported. The application is fully Unicode-compatible and can be integrated into Windows Explorer's context menu, so there is no problem to call it from anywhere in Explorer: right-click a file and select the "Universal Viewer" item. It can also be integrated into other popular file managers. Generally, Universal Viewer is an application similar to Total Commander Lister.

Supported file formats are:
Images: all major graphics formats: JPG BMP ICO GIF PNG WMF TIFF PSD..., over 40 formats. Also, RAW images from 400+ cameras are supported. Image panel with "Conver to" feature;
Multimedia: all major media formats: AVI MPG WMV MP3 MP4 FLV MKV..., over 170 formats;
Word: file types of MS Office Word: DOC DOCX;
Excel: file types of MS Office Excel: XLS XLSX;
PDF: Adobe PDF format, plus DJVU XPS CBR CBZ;
RTF: complex Rich Text format (RTF) files with images, tables, ...;
Internet: all file types supported by MS Internet Explorer: HTML, XML, MHT...;
Text: text view for unknown file types. Files of unlimited size can be shown (even 4Gb+ sizes are allowed). All major text encodings supported. Unicode/UTF-8 views are present;
Plugins: all file types supported by Total Commander Lister plugins.

For Word, Excel or PDF files, no additional software is needed to view these files. MS Office, Adobe Reader, Foxit Reader and similar software may be not installed at all. For multimedia files, no external codecs are needed too. The new multimedia player supports over 170 formats so external codecs not required.

The "follow tail" function for logs has the limitation: it requires that external application do "flush file buffer" during file write.

One app to view EVERYTHING! THANK YOU Mirkec! Now I can quickly preview Word, Excel and Youtube .mp4 clips! Does it by chance translate languages? I could have used a VIEW EVERYTHING TRANSLATOR recently. When I visited Qumran I saw the strangest stained glass colored serpent dash down a hole! As I stared down the hole I wondered how this snake was able to give off kaleidoscopic light?! I snapped to AND FROZE when I heard a noise behind me on the shade tree. Suddenly I knew who and what it was!

A piece of parchment fluttered down on my lap, heavy as lead, and on it were late Canaanite..or were they early Phonecian symbols?! I was very still, afraid to move lest the serpent strike! I heard, "Turn and see!" and as I turned I looked into the serpent's eyes and beheld ALL THINGS. As he slithered down my neck and back into the hole in the ground he hissed, "Take this and dig!" in a comforting voice that fell like mercury rain.

I rushed to the hole and dug with a strength I did not understand! After 12 hours I hit a large dusty brown and orange pottery vase engraved in symbols similar to the fragment! With some effort I loosened the lid and a dense and infinitely complex KALEIDOSCOPIC LIGHT RUSHED from the vase in the form of the serpent! He hissed, "Use the key I gave you! Translate the scrolls!" His hissing was a beautifully sophisticated form of communication that reminded me of dolphins, bats and the entire woodwind section of the orchestra!

As I rifled through the glowing parchments, viewing each through the crystal key, they turned to dust! Would the message for ALL MANKIND be lost forever?! As each fragment disintegrated when the glow from the key hit it, I began to understand small parts of the most ancient message in existence! When every piece and fragment had returned to dust, something lifted me into the sky! I heard and saw the trees and animals look up at me! They had been waiting for this moment FOREVER! From deep inside my being a voice like a multitude cried out! The earth and stars shook and DANCED nearly from their places! The voice like rushing waters was now MY VOICE AND I SAID:
