Locked VPN and uploading

Does vpn affect uploading...Its seems like my download is at zero bytes and I have clearly downloaded a few torrents and was I given 5G uploaded status when joining team os. I keep the download in torrent for upload/seed but my vpn doesnt always stay logged in. Maybe have a seperate machine for just team os , no vpn ? Thanks

Your ratio is zero because everything is freeleech atm. DL torrents don't count against your ratio. Once freeleech is done you will begin to see ratio once you DL something. Depending what vpn you are using, some vpn don't allow torrenting, so yes it can affect your UL speed. I suggest turning off your vpn as it is not needed here. Or you can use another machine for seeding like you mentioned.
