The first CPU I "got" was an Intel 286, which I later upgraded to an Intel 386.

The first CPU I “bought” was a Pentium with 90Mhz (yes it was a faulty one and I got it replaced).

For those that are not as old as I am, the P90 CPU from Intel had problems (not all of them just a few) which caused the CPU to calculate wrong on some decimal places, which was fun if you did not depend on it…

I was 16teen and that thing cost me about $ 3200,-

It had the P90, 8MB Ram, 1GB HDD and an ultrafast DoubleSpeed CD ROM, It was the best that money could buy at the time…

An ancient Osborne 64 from my father's workshop he used in business back in 1981. Z80 microprocessor, 64 KB of RAM. Has 2 floppy drives that still work too. plays Doom, the very first version, decently.

In that time 64kb ram was maximum for CP/M OS. Z80 works on 8 bits only.

My first cpu was intel 80286
