Unfortunately this fix didn’t work. Windows was still unable to start the WLAN Autoconfig Service due to error 1068.

There are alot of potential fixes >> google this >>>> WLAN Autoconfig Service due to error 1068.

If the fix i posted above does not work then keep trying other fixes...

Here are the WLAN AutoConfig service dependencies:

    Extensible Authentication Protocol (Started, Automatic)
    CNG Key Isolation (Started Automatic)
    NativeWiFi Filter (might not exist)
NDIS usermode I/O Protocol (might not exist)
Remote Procedure Call (RPC) (Started, Automatic)
DCOM Server Process Launcher (Started, Automatic)

    Method 1
    Step 1:

First, let’s check for the dependency services of “WLAN Auto Config” and make sure that all the dependency services are started.

    Follow these steps:

    a. Click Start, type
services.msc in the Start search box and hit Enter.

    b. Locate the “WLAN Auto Config” service.

    c. Right-click the service and select “Properties”.

    d. Click the “Dependencies” tab.

    Step 2:

Make a note of the dependency services of “WLAN Auto Config Manager” and make sure that these services are started and the startup type is set to “Automatic”.

To start a service, right-click the particular service and select “Start” or “Restart”.

To set the startup type of a particular service,

    a. Right-click the service and select “Properties”.

    b. Under General tab, make sure the
Startup type is set to Automatic.

    Method 2
Run command sfc /scannow as Administrator

If the methods don't work, try to remove invalid DHCP Registry entries.
    Step 1: Click START button
Step 2: In the Search area, type "regedit" , right click on the search result and "Run as Administrator".
Step 3: Click on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE", should expand out to a list of stuff
Step 4: Next choose "SYSTEM", should expand again
Step 5: Choose "CurrentControlSet", expands again
Step 6: Choose "Services", expands to a super large list of stuff
Step 7: Click on "Dhcp", the right window will show the files in that folder
Step 8: Double click on "DependOnService"
Step 9: Delete all the words in text area, except "Afd", and click OK.
Step 10: Next under "Services", look for "EapHost", this should be a few folders below Dhcp
Step 11: Same thing, double click on the file "DependOnService"
Step 12: Delete everything in the text are and click OK. Restart your server.
