How do I activate this Windows? Should I just download an Medicines from somewhere else?

The Medicines is in the 'Software' bundle which appears on desktop after fresh install. Run it as Admin and it should deal with activation. If not, try a compatible Loader. However, I had no issues thus far.

does it come pre-activated ..coz mine is not and am unabl to activate it

Did you use the Software bundle app on desktop? Started it as Admin? Should automatically complete installation and activation. Otherwise, as I said to user above - try various Loaders and one is meant to work.

The installation itself is in English, however, you are able to add French after finishing the installation. Go to Control Panel and then Languages and click Add and choose French.

hello, newly registered, but I've been lurking and using the Windows 7 Crux for years

need to install win 10 now and wanted to know if this is the pared-down version like the crux 7 was or is there another one? I heard lots of things about telemetry and forced updates for win 10 and would really like to avoid that

Same as you - always worked on Windows 7 (just not Crux as it was default Microsoft one) and depended on the micromanaging it.

Essentially it is the first Windows 10 I will run as main PC system. For now it seems I can have some semblance of control wih what devs removed and stopped (I switched all options to off during install). There is Windows 10 debloater which has specific scripts like anti-telemetry as separate files you can run through Powershell if you wish.

is it safe to update? please reply

Would not recommend automatic updates - turn them off for now and go through recent updates issued manually and see if you want or need any.
