After a couple of reboots, the custom start menu and icons either go back to stock or look like the Windows Classic icons. I've installed multiple times with the same exact issues

This 7 Elementary version is GREAT.
Cant say so many good things about it. it just works. Using a 4K monitor so it doesnt seem to like 4k resolution, not found a workaround or tweak for this yet, but at least its full HD and working well. Think it could be a limitation of HDMI, so will try displayport later.
As I said before using this on all my PC's from now on, it just works.
issue I was having with windows 10, was the wifi dropping out and conecting. Win10 seems to have a background energy saving feature, which powers down the wifi and I lose connection then, other devices work fine on other operating systems.
