WIM = Windows Imaging Format

ESD = Electronic Software Download
From what I know so far, ESD is a MS proprietary version of the ISO format. Thankfully, this is already converted for your convenience. I would personally use this version for a clean install.

Thanks for the sustained work and the precious help. Please also update the versions without USB3.0 at 2-3 months.
On my system (HP Z220 CMT Workstation with i7-3770) I could not install the versions with USB3.0. A blue screen appears near the end of installation (at Completing Installation). I tested three versions with USB3.0 (x64 Aug 2018, AIO 11 in 1 Aug 2018 and AIO 11 in 2 Mai 2018). All encounter the same error. Error code: *** STOP: 0x0000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005 , 0x0000000000000000 , 0xFFFFF880035087E8 , 0xFFFFF88003508050). Appears when installing from DVD and USB made with RUFUS.
On non-USB3.0 versions the installation went well. I tested two versions (x64 July 2018 and AIO 11 in 1 July 2018).
I specify that the dual boot settings (UEFI + Legacy) were the same for all versions tested.
I saw that satrianiboys, #100 posted the comment:
The USB 3.0 driver seems making some system unbootable (bluescreen) in the second phase of installation (after boot logo)
I concluded from this comment that others have the same problem.
