Only way to prevent them is to disable automatic updates, and change it to "Let me choose what and when to download", then see whats there ie: KB4893635 ...
... If its something you think will harm system, then dont get it, if its something you want/need, then get it.
Note: KB4893635 is a fictitious update used for reference only
Hey Proteus, thanks a lot for the quick reply.

Can you tell me if this ASUS motherboard Windows Update problem also occurs with your other upload, the Windows 7 Ultimate x64 USB 3.0 Momentus https://www.teamos-hkrg.com/index.php?threads/windows-7-ultimate-x64-usb-3-0-momentus.80533/page-3#post-434300 ?
Because if not, then I think I'd rather try installing that one becasue it's also already pre-activated...
And can you tell me how I should use the Windows 7 Loader Permanent Activator V2.2.2 https://www.teamos-hkrg.com/index.php?threads/windows-7-loader-permanent-activator-v2-2-2.58362/ ? Do I just run that program after installing Windows 7 and then Windows gets activated?

Sorry for the noob questions. I appreciate all your help. ;)

Researching which updates may or may not harm your system is YOUR responsibility. Just check for updates, see which ones are available, then cut & paste (KB4893635) into a google window and see what the update is about and it if has any relevance towards harming your system.

As far as the activator, just right click it and run as administrator, it will do the rest for you. Follow ANY onscreen instructions if they popup. Reboot may be required with some activators.

edit: I updated it to current when I posted the image, if there are any updates, they may be the ones that are harming SOME systems, check them 1st.

Until now I always had Windows Updates automatically download and install ALL updates because I thought there was no harm in it and that it was necessary for good security. So are you telling me that I always have to check EVERY single update manually through Google search to find out if it may cause harm to my PC? Or does this only count for updates that have ASUS (motherboard) in the title?
I wouldn't have a clue what too look out for if I would have to do that...

I've got ALL updates thru 6/2/2019, EXCEPT the ones that will cause harm. There cant be that many more new ones since then. Go into Updates, change the setting where its automatic to "notify me when updates are available". When they are available, browse them and see which ones they are. Check them in google for possible harm to your system..

I dont know how else I can help you. We all have to learn how to manage our systems sometime, not to be mean/arrogant, but the rest is up to you now.

OK, I understand perfectly now. I can be a little dense at times so thank you for the explanation. You couldn't have been any clearer. ;)
I will try installing your Windows 7 Apophis and activate it with the W7 Loader Permanent Activator.
Once again thanks for all the info! I'll let you know when I'm successful in installing this Windows 7.

I go to a website site called askwoody to see if M$ updates will do harm to my comps (I can't remember if I could put links in this site)
BTW, thank you once again for another outstanding OS :)
BTW, BTW (can you have 2 BTW's?) Thank you for the heads-up about ASUS. I have always bought ASUS boards
But since ASUS made W7 so hard to install on NVMe, I will get MSI mobos from now on (I know about the MSI Smart Tool)
enjoy your day 00Proteus00 :)

How you mentioned it was fine I believe, and no, you cant post any outside links whatsoever or the mods will bust you for it. Thanks for the kind words :)
