WinToUSB (also called Windows To USB) is the best free Windows To Go Creator which allows a user to install and run a fully-functional Windows operating system on an external hard drive or a USB flash drive. Hi,

This program allows to have windows on a USB key OR an external hard disk as if it was a normal installation.
But, here, you can take windows where you want without losing your data as it is persistent

Thanks for the info. I thought that was what the 'Windows to Go' thing was supposed to mean, but wasn't sure. I use Linux 98% of the time and know little about Windows. Now I have some re-configuring to configure.
