Hello,
Im trying to find a solution to a problem that im dealing with the last month.
I would like to automate a specific action in photoshop.
Those steps are necessary because its the only way to do the right calculations about ink consumptions to my press programm. I have already tried all the options from the export when i design those files.
I have one folder that it has some pdf files for press printing.
I have a second folder that:
I open each pdf of first folder in Photoshop
1) When you first open a pdf file a dialog comes up about dpi settings and colorspace (those settings are always 300dpi and CMYK). And then it opens the pdf (flattened on those settings).
2) Then i just save as that file again without any edit to the second folder.
I would like to automate all this thing because i lose around 45 minutes doing that everyday.
I have already created a powershell that monitors the 1st folder and checks every 1 minute for new pdfs.
Is there any way to call a specific action in Photoshop from the powershell and apply steps 1 and 2 for the new pdf? I have tried searching it with many ways but i cant find a solution. Thank you
