For anyone running Arch or an Arch based distro I've put together this little overlay script for you (following the official guide) so you can use the blackarch tools without having to install the entire OS.
Copy all text in the spoiler tag and save it to a text file with the .sh extension then sudo chmod +x /path/to/name_of_script.sh and run it.
So for example lets save it as Blackarch_Overlay.sh in my Desktop directory.
I would then use the following terminal command without the quotes
"sudo chmod +x /home/noblewolf/Desktop/Blackarch_overlay.sh"
Finally I would run it with this.
cd /home/noblewolf/Desktop/ && sudo ./Blackarch_Overlay.sh
Make a coffee. It'll take a while lol.
# This downloads the Blackarch bootstrap script which brings in the keys and adds the repositories
# to your pacman.conf file
You must be registered for see links
# This checks the sha1sum hash file of bootstrap script to make sure it hasn't been modified.
echo "9c15f5d3d6f3f8ad63a6927ba78ed54f1a52176b" strap.sh | sha1sum -c
# This pauses the script so you can cancel it if the sha1sum doesn't match.
# This sets the bootstrap script to executable so that it can run.
sudo chmod +x strap.sh
# This executes the bootstrap script and adds the repositories
# This updates your repositories so that pacman can see the Blackarch repository and allows you
# install from them.
sudo pacman -Syu
# This opens nano and allows you to edit the Blackarch mirrorlist which by default selects the
# closest repository not the fastest.
sudo nano /etc/pacman.d/blackarch-mirrorlist
# This refreshes your repositories so that pacman can download from the new mirrorlist if you
# edited it
sudo pacman -Syu
# This will install all of the tools. uncomment to have everything.
# sudo pacman -S blackarch
