windows 10. not working.
It say that " windows cannot find gpedit.msc "
"run" and "search" are different. try a "search" for "cmd" right click and select "run as administrator" then type in "gpedit.msc". it works fine under win10 and win7. very simple instructions. +1 to the op.

This definitely works in all Windows 7/8/10 when following the provided instructions with photos.

1. Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes.
That's how i did it.

Thank you @IGI30! I upgrade from Windows 10 home to pro edition! My limit reservable bandwidth was 80% by default! Is that possible? Anyway, your tweak works excellent!

I'm use windows 10 Home Single Language x64 :
1. gpedid.msc does not work;
2. Nor that : The other way to find it is Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Local Security Policy. After double clicking 'Local Security Policy', then follow along with IGI30's instructions.
In Administrative Tools ther is no Local Security Policy.
I'm not complaining.
Just let users know that this may not work in Windosw 10 Home Edition. And like ianmb say in any not on 7 Home Edition.

1. You wrote wrong. It is "gpedit.msc", not "gpedid.msc"
2. Read all comments before making the premature conclusion
3. I found a thread

@Kornell You are right about gpedit.msc not working. But please note, It is not working in a Windows 10 Home edition. However if you get any other edition of windows it will work.
PS: It will work even in home edition if you find a way to install gpedit.msc in it. It's simple and easy . Just do a quick google search and the first result would guide you on the right path. To be more precise just search "gpedit for windows 10 home" on google. The first result should you give you what you need! Thanks and hope I have helped.

@Mirkec FYI: gpedit.msc is disabled in Windows 10 Home edition by default. It's only available in pro versions etc.. Peace!

@IGI30 I'm sorry but i got so busy explaining what's what to Kornell that i forgot to thank you. It's great hack for all of us here. Brilliant job. Keep up the good work!

Yes, I know that @Des Rayz, but I read and quote attached M4Master thread! Then it is obviously possible! Peace! :)
