my friend have pc with core 2 duo i make bootable usb of leaked win 11 start installer but then says your pc not meet minimum requirement
and then stop
My Question is can anyone modify win 11 iso to support other processor that support win 10 !

Answer this 1st. Why would you want to have windows 11 on a core duo and an old motherboard that doesn't support new features that Windows 11 use? Even if and when we do make it to run what will be the benefit to you? What do you hope will happen? Also, the leaked version is a very early beta test version with half of the things missing. Do you want a test build on your PC?

There is a reason for an OS or software to ask for the hardware they do. It means that when it's fully working it will make use of them and if you dont meet the minimum, maybe windows will run but won't run flawlessly and the programs you will run on your windows even less.

Second, if you would have done a small research on what the requirements actually are, you would have seen that Windows 11 ask for a dual-core, 1GHZ minimum so your CPU is not the problem. They need 4GB of ram minimum, a DX12 graphic card, UEFI bios (which you probably have a problem with core-duo class PC), and TPM chip (google again) that old PCs don't have.

doesn't meet the requirements... you need a tpm 2.0 mother board 64 bit processor direct 12 graphic card and 4gb or more!

It's 110% false I posted the specs above. Dual-core CPU and 1 GHz. CPU is the least of the worries.

a core 2 duo ? I would only have windows 7 or use a small small windows 10 install, even then not for games. windows 11 I think is a good line to get a newer computer.

l got i7 4th cpu but PC health checkers say ; the processor is not supported for Windows 11.
So u mean l can run windows 11 with this specs bud? sorry to bother

The installer will allow you in your case but you will see a warning.

From MS:
Microsoft notes that CPU generation requirements are a “soft floor” limit for the Windows 11 installer. That should allow some older CPUs to be able to install Windows 11 with a warning, but it’s not clear how these devices will be supported long term.

If you have 8th gen and above or ryzen 2000 and above, you will just not get the warning message.

Technically you can install 11 on it by switching some windows 11 installation files with with win 10 installation files and then recompiling the iso but would you really want to try and run it on that old spec

I did install the "mirkec" version x0lite pro on core2duo e8400 system with 4gb ram but the boot-up time is long..win10optimized versions are a little faster to bootup and as win11 is really a win10 with some changes&tweaks here and there,I don't think you need to install that win11 on older hardware.
with office&runtimes installed and overall some software,it consumes 1.3-1.4GB ram,just the same as win 10 optimized versions.

yes,it's possible to install it on nearly everything since a decade ago. the requirements of win11 are there to ensure all security patches & fixed are being done, but it's not a hindrance to anyone who wants to use the newest windows if he knows/googled on how to bypass the "verify requirement check"
