Although Deepin is a great distro - and this is just my opinion! - I prefer Ubuntu based distros over Debian, but I love DDE.
And there is a solution - UbuntuDDE...

(And there are some controversies over Deepin, don't know how true they are).

I don't even have the laptop anymore that I installed it on. Right now running Mint on a different laptop. I've read many articles about Deepin and how it has links to cnzz.com which many consider malicious. Don't know how true it is,but people can decide for themselves. I just found Mint to be better for me personally. I do agree that 'Buntu based distros are better, and anyone can install any desktop environment on any distro. Cheers

Yeah, I agree. Myself - Mint 19.3 Cinnamon (Conky of course).
Can't wait for 20. Not that I need it badly, I just like to tinker with new stuff .

This is really good. Installed on AMD Sempron single core 2.7GHz, 2GB DDR3 Ram. works smooth...no issues at all.

Well, Kali and Deepin are two whole different balls of soup... Kali is pen-testing distro and Deepin a lightweight daily driver... Nothing connects the two so now wonder.
