DirOpus is essential program and I use it for 20 years. For the last few years I'm using v11.19 where I need to reset the trial every 30 days. It's not a bad solution.
I'll try this version here, hopefully it'll work. I know it's (and it has been) always pain in the ass to Medicines.

I really appreciate the speed, the synchronization function, I love to have each drive a separate tab in each lister, that makes working with any files a breeze.
Search tool is also better than any other search I've ever tested.
Find as you type is also another function I really can't live without.
If there wasn't a cracked version, I'd buy it and I've never bought any SW in my life yet.

hi.. is it me or do you also have issues after a while? I used dopus for some time but suddenly it started to launch the check and form that moment I can use dopus for 30 minutes, maybe 45 and then it closes with the mouse and the cat.. do you have any suggestion?
is the repack version better? I seem to remember I used the standard one..

I don't think a Medicines for the latest version exists. Directory Opus has always been a pain in the *** to Medicines and legit working versions are very few.

Please let us know if it persists. The instructions you referenced are for version 9.x blacklisting. I have these directions since then as text file and while it did 'work' on v12.x for a little while, it did not
stick. Try to fire up regedit or Firewall settings and play about a bit. That usually does the trick to get it to quit and the cat running (but not necessarily immediately, sometimes it kept working for a while).
The suggestion that checks work via DNS request of type "TEXT" seems to me the most plausible venue for the continued black listing and there is not really an "easy" fix that I know of.

I still run 9.5.5.0.3889.x64 on Win7 Pro and for at least 5 years at that. Not ever an issue ...

I do the same, works great, I just use a simple firewall to block, the later versions are crazy, they send out using browsers.
