Unraid is an operating system for personal and small business use that brings enterprise-class features
letting you configure your computer systems to maximize performance and capacity using any combination of applications, VMs, storage devices, and hardware.

The minimum hardware requirements to install Unraid OS 6 for data storage usage are:

A 64-bit capable processor, 1.0 GHz or better
At least 2GB of RAM
Linux hardware driver support for storage, Ethernet, and USB controllers
Two hard disk drives to ensure data protection with a parity disk

Additional requirements apply when adding applications or virtual machines.

1. Extract unRAID OS on a USB device of your choice.
2. Copy over the cracked content from the /Crack directory to the USB device.
3. Run the make_bootable.bat file on the USB as Administrator
4. Fgure out the Flash GUID of your USB device, which is displayed for example in unRAID's web interface.
- Web interface can be accessed by booting into UnraidOS > Under 'Main' Section find the USB and click it
5. Use the keygen to generate a key file for your Flash GUID.
6. Place the generated key file into unRAID's config directory.
7.Enjoy!

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here, but I can not get this to work. I've followed the instructions exactly, several times now, but no matter what I do, it will not get an IP address from the DHCP server on boot and the WebUI page cannot be accessed. Even if I boot Unraid in GUI mode and login directly the WebUI page will not load.

NEVERMIND to my previous comment. I dont see a way to edit it so I'm replying to it. I forgot that you MUST boot into GUI mode on Unraid's first boot. After starting all over and then doing GUI Mode on first boot it worked. Might want to add that in the instructions for new users :)

And one more nugget of information someone might find valuable. I was able to copy over my complete Unraid Trail setup over to this new installation. I have been running the Trial for almost three weeks and had 6 Docker Containers and 2 VM's setup, as well as 7 custom Shares setup. Rather than having to re setup all that stuff, all I did was copy everything from the Config directory on my old Unraid Trial USB stick over to the Config folder on this new Unraid USB stick (after doing the first GUI boot then shutting down). Everything came back exactly like it was after that!

For all of you unRAID fans, there is something you should know about unRAID v6.7.2 - IT HAS A BUG THAT CORRUPTS DATABASES (of the apps running on it)
This was known by LimeTech (eventually, but NOT an advertised issue). I had to find-out for myself the hard-way with NUMEROUS application restorations in order to fix it when their DB's became corrupted.
This information became available online because of user posts regarding the issue. I was able to resolve it by reverting to v6.7.0 - No more corruption after that.
v6.5.3 that is available here works fine, but is dated as some of you have noted.
LimeTech supposedly fixed the bug in v6.8 according to the list of changes that are documented as having been made (I sure hope so; haven't tried it as yet.)
So, if any of you are experiencing problems with applications installed in unRAID v6.7.2 continually going "belly-up", this could be the source of your problem.
