Nik Collection by DxO is the most complete collection of plug-ins using proprietary U Point technology, which allows you to finely adjust the brightness, contrast, color saturation and other parameters of individual objects or areas of a photograph. With the help of these plug-ins you can adjust the clarity of the image in digital photos, perform color correction, retouching, styling, get rid of any type of noise in the photo.
The Nik Collection by DxO comes in the form of several plug-ins, each with its own features and benefits. In general, thanks to this product, you can carry out professional retouching and color correction, adjust saturation and brightness settings, eliminate any defects, apply the latest effects and filters.
Peculiarities
• The U Point technology underlying control points has also been improved. Technology that allows users to apply local settings without manually creating masks now includes Color Selectivity sliders. You can adjust the chroma and brightness of the target pixels below the breakpoint, giving the user much finer control over local settings.
• While you can use Nik Collection 4 as a standalone application or with Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop if you're using it in Photoshop, you now have access to what DxO calls "Meta Presets." They are available through the Nik Selective Tool and provide direct access to 10 Photoshop actions that combine various filters from multiple Nik plugins with a single click.
• Within Lightroom, a new "Last Edit" feature allows users to reapply a selected preset (or presets) that was recently used on an image to a second image or set of images. This will greatly improve the flexibility of your workflow within Lightroom.
• In addition to the improved user interface and improved U Point technology, Viveza and Silver Efex have received additional improvements. Viveza has 10 built-in presets, all created by professional photographers.
• Nik Viveza includes 10 new presets.
• 39 new film grains have been added to Silver Efex. All of them are realistic and created by hand using real films. DxO says that what makes their film grain different from grain in software like Lightroom is that DxO has accurately modeled grain size and shape for different films, which Lightroom doesn't.
• Silver Efex also adds DxO's ClearView technology, which was first introduced in DxO PhotoLab, the company's leading photo editing software. ClearView removes haze and increases local contrast at the same time, adding more detail and definition to your black and white conversions.
• Nik Silver Efex now includes ClearView technology, first introduced with DxO PhotoLab.
• Nik Collection 4 by DxO is now available for Windows and macOS. For new users, the program is available for $99.99 until June 30th. After that, the price will rise to $149. Owners of DxO's existing Nik Collection software can upgrade through June 30 for $59.99. After that, the upgrade will cost $79. A fully functional 30 day free trial is also available on the DxO website.
• As a note to Mac M1 users, Nik Collection 4 does not yet support the Adobe Photoshop M1 version. DxO hopes a compatible installer will be available soon.

Attention!! To prevent Viveza and Silver Efex Pro from requiring activation after applying changes, convert the image to a Smart Object and leave the Smart Filter open.
