NirSoft provides a unique collection of small and useful freeware utilities, all of them are developed by Nir Sofer.
Whether you are looking for forensics, windows password recovery tools, or for network tools, it is there. Looking for your IP info or the blocks assigned to your country/geo location, at an easy run, it is there for you. Video capture to sniffing tools, to chrome/fox password locators. One has to just run the utility and there it is, voila.
The package contains more than 300 utilities, including the sysinternal, mitec, ntcore, piriform utilities too.
Advantages of NirSoft utilities
For almost every utility that you can find here, there is probably other alternative tools with similar functionality. However, NirSoft utilities have some unique advantages over many other freeware and commercial products:

I have added 3 separate utilities in it in order for NS to achieve more. First is CamUnZip, for people who need a better utility than RAR, lighter than 7Zip.
Secondly I have added NMCap and NPCap (NPCap is upgrade onto WinPCap which is now discontinued). These 2 utilities assist a lot in terms of NS activities, and ideally should be installed at program folder level.

- Most of the utilities in this site were developed in C++, which make them fast, small and effective.
- Utilities are portable and mostly don't require any installation. While many software companies create a bloated installation package with size of 1 - 3 MB, the size of single utility in NirSoft is usually less than 100KB.
- All utilities (except of a few very old tools) don't write anything to the Registry or to your profile folder. This means that you can use them from a USB Flash drive, without leaving traces in the computer that you use.
- Most of the utilities can be used from command-line, without displaying any user interface.
- Utilities don't collect any personal information from your computer and they will never send any information to anyone.
- Utilities are completely freeware, without any catch.

- Just extract to any drive/USB Drive and run the "NirLauncher".
- If any particular utility does not show up, you can launch from the respective folder by navigating to the file.
