VHDX (Hyper-V virtual hard disk)

VHDX is a Hyper-V virtual hard disk (VHD) format found in Windows Server 2012.

The main advantage of switching to VHDX is its increased storage capacity of 64 TB (terabytes), instead of VHD's standard storage limit of 2 TB. Other advantages of VHDX include file corruption protection and the ability to create differencing disks.
VHDX files are not compatible with previous versions of Windows Server. However, the conversion process from VHD to VHDX is simplified with Windows Server 2012.

Ok lets clear the confusion. For the time there is only one version of LTSC (the previous one was called LTSB) and its 1809. The rest are just 1809s with some MS updates included which are the same updates you will get when you install a clean version anyway. Additionally, the versions here have extra "libraries" like .net or c++ redistributable etc that are needed from other software to run.

I think from your original post you are asking for normal LTSC and not the server version so none of the above will do.

As for your last question, the ISO version is the normal version to be installed from a USB/DVD and the VHDX version is to be used by virtual machines in virtual servers.

So long story short, get the LTSC you like best from here (avoid the minimal ones for normal use) and enjoy the ride.

Edit: for those who don't know LTSC version is the most stable windows version out there. It gets only stable kernels that are tested for long (that's why its at 1809) and never gets system updates *the ones that break systems) but only security updates which is what we want.

I think it is related to the virtual disk format for use in VM.
I'll share some info with you by PM.
But if you have no idea about that (like me) better download a normal version. ;)

@soufian2000, I found an official MS evaluation link, so you must activate it.
This is Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 in english 64 bit, size 3.77 GB

I share it here because it is an official and legal link.

https://software-download.microsoft.com/download/sg/17763.107.101029-1455.rs5_release_svc_refresh_CLIENT_LTSC_EVAL_x64FRE_en-us.iso

If you want it in another language, try changing the last letters and try. For Spanish "es-es", for French "fr-fr", for italian "it-it", etc
