Silhouette Studio® is a robust, free design software that gives makers the freedom to imagine, design, and create unique craft projects. With dozens of design tools and easy integration with Silhouette cutting machines, Silhouette Studio® is the ultimate tool for crafters who want to make their own unique, personalized projects.
The free version of Silhouette Studio lacks the functionality to import svg and ai which is annoying. That should be available even in the free version!!!
Business edition does the following:
Export designs as SVG, PDF, and JPG files.
Import and work with Ai, CDR, and EPS files.
Work with multiple machines at once with Multi-Cutter Support
Access all features available in Basic, Designer, and Designer + Editions.
Upgrading to Basic to Business>
Click on help >then click > apply upgrade edition (then requires a login) not sure if this is a problem or can be bypassed?
Normally after login there's a key entry point.
Other Info:
There is 2 installers available in Official Website. One is 32 and one 64 bit. I personally use 64 bit machines. But if anyone make a Medicine for a 32 bit version will work on a 64 bit machine then great. Useful for everyone.
Its very annoying there free version doesn't support ai and svg import. That's a basic function of any Designing Software

If can advise on what to block in hosts file as well please. This does online checks.
