from the description this sounds not to be safe to be used here...or maybe there is a way to only tweak certain settings but then that beats the point of needing privacy
i'll still take a look at this, it may be useful elsewhere...but from what i remember from some very old version i tried long ago antiviruses dislike it too, can only hope this new version is considered less harmful

What you remember long ago is not relevant today. There is nothing wrong with this program. Straight from the developers. Only personal preference is the issue. If you don't like it or are worried, then don't use it. Plenty of others will.

i'd be mad to skip it, i am a fan of all browser things firefox, only wish the latest versions would be more resource friendly...will take this for a test ride soon for sure, thank you for your kind reply

there are many sites that don't allow vpn and it is my impression tor can act like one..
i think i also remember a note about vpns here but not sure if its enforced or not, did not pay attention since i am not using vpn

Also, I didn't know you could access TOS from tor so that's g2k
