Locked Two Step on Login Not Receiving Email

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem. But when I setup two step verification a week or so ago, I can receive the code. Today, when I login, I did not receive any email. Not in spam folder or anywhere. Good thing I kept my backup code. But just wondering if it's hotmail related or just my bad luck or if anyone else is having this problem. Thanks

Install the Google Authenticator application on your mobile and then the application will always generate a code for you. If you have installed the application, by scanning the QR code on the page, the Team OS page will be automatically added to the program.

Lucky for you, you had your backup codes in hand. I am already starting to worry about what i have to do when 30 days passes and i get auto logged out. (Even though i have my backup codes, i do prefer seamless integration)

Authentication app is okish if you primarily use it and teamOS is another one of the site to be added in the list, but i won't recommend installing an authenticator just for one site.

Phone OTP implementation is out of question since, it is our very sensitive information, and many wouldn't be willing to share it.

Best method would be to set a alternate email address along with the primary one. (There are cons to this method too, but this method would solve the issue for regular visitors) A few tweaks here and there and a small amount of concentration and dedication to this method can be done to implement with very tiny flaws, this method is doable, but that depends on Super Admins.

well, i dont want to use an authenticator app just for one website,
email authentication should work, and it seems it isnt as many people are complaining.
hopefully this gets fixed quickly
