VEGAS Image is a raw image composer. It uses layer-based composition to combine images in a 16-bit color space. By using raw images,
it gains access to the full range of raw color data, delivering the highest quality in the industry. And by using the GPU for heavy-duty work,
performance is still surprisingly high, even with high-resolution images.

Built-in keying
Place your images in front of a brand new landscape! The tools contained in VEGAS Image make it easy to cleanly and accurately replace any background.

Automatic chroma key
Need to remove green screen or other background? Automatic Chroma Key will do the job for you quickly and easily. You no longer have to spend hours processing fine hairs and other elements!

Brightness
Powerful instant light-based background removal tool - great for removing black backgrounds from original footage where part of the image needs to be semi-transparent.

Enveloping in light
Bend backgrounds around keyed elements to integrate even more seamlessly into complex effects. Light Wrap creates a natural keying effect for a particularly believable image.

Suppressing streaming light
Neutralize or remove unwanted green screen spills for more natural, cleaner keys for better combinations. Extract great keys from materials that already seemed unusable.

Softening the edges
Remove rough edges from the elements you have marked. Use floodlight suppression and ambient light for fantastic natural keys without anyone guessing it's a combination shot.

Filters and Effects
VEGAS Image contains 38 powerful filters that provide everything you need to create the perfect atmosphere for your movies or restore images. Just adjust colors, sharpen details, or remove fog.

Multiple image effects
Effectively apply a variety of effects such as saturation, haze removal, sharpening, exposure, shadows and highlights, and light rays. Effects can be used to correct unsuccessful shots and to enhance images.

Working with layers
Use adjustable layers in real time an unlimited number of times without affecting other elements of the image. Now hidden mistakes or late enlightenments will not take too much of your time.
