We only have two simple torrent downloading rules. They are

• If you download torrents then you must maintain an overall ratio of at least 0.4.
• You must seed every torrent you download, including freeleech torrents, for at least 72 hours.

If you break either of these rules then you will receive a warning and you will not be able to download any more torrents.

Some people find it hard to keep a good ratio even if they do seed for a long time.
Sometimes this is because they have a slow internet connection and their upload speeds are poor.

To help people with a slow internet connection, we have a "Seed bonus" system.
This system rewards you for seeding even if your torrent client does not upload anything.
You earn 1 seed bonus point every hour for each of your seeding torrents.
So if you seed 10 torrents for 2 hours you will earn 20 points.

When you have earned at least 120 points, you can use them to improve your ratio like this:

• Click the "Your Seed Bonus" link. There is one at the top of every page.
• Click one of the green "Redeem" buttons to convert the points to upload credit.
• If you do not see any green buttons then you do not have enough points so you must continue seeding until you do have 120 points.

When you redeem points the upload credit is added to your account which improves your ratio.

If you have lost your download rights you can still download freeleech torrents to help you fix your ratio.
