It did not help, but wordpad opens the text files. I also installed notepad3, the same problem

Sorry Jerry, nothing helps, I uninstalled, then installed notepad again, I had the same problem. I tried to open notepad alone, the same. Then I installed notepad3, the same. But wordpad works!
I hope, you will find a solution for me.

This is what I did and worked.
Go to settings>apps>notepad>repair>reset>restart pc>uninstall
Go to microsoft store search for notepad>install restart.
It worked for me, otherwise install Notepad++ much better

Hey Jerry, ran into an issue with your Colors OS when I installed Office 2021. The error I am getting I never seen before. Here it is - There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper. I got this from Office 365 install as well. Tried most of the troubleshooting tips I found online, but nothing works. Both services that would cause this are enabled. So, that is not the issue. Any ideas?

Just an update. I installed an offline copy of Office 2016 and had no issues. It appears the versions that require internet access is where the problem occurs (versions later then 2016).

Evernote is almost 400mb and Notepad++ around 5MB
For me notepad++ is all I need, but the choise is yours.

I Googled it, nothing called that. I used "TransparentExplorer" as my search string. Even tried separating the two words.
